Womb cancer will happen when the cells in womb (uterus) will grows in abnormal & uncontrolled way, therefore it will form like a lump or a tumor. Womb is a major part of female reproductive system & where the baby will develops.

Women who are overweight called as obese and are usually 2 - 3 times are likely to develop the womb cancer when compared with a women of a normal weight. Women who were very obese can increase the risk up to 6 times. Anothermajor reason for the higher risk of womb cancer was overweight women which may be related to the insulin. Insulin will help the body to unlock & use the energy in food which we eat. People who were overweight may sometimes become resistant to the insulin. This means that even though body produces insulin, the insulin wont work normally. To make up for this, the body will produce too much. Some of the studies showed that higher levels of the insulin were linked to an increased risk of the womb cancer. This is because of the extra insulin may stimulates the cancerous growth in the lining of the womb.
